Aims / Purpose of the Role:

We are looking for warm friendly and outgoing individuals who are passionate and dedicated to delivering a first class customer service.

The reception will be open from 8.30am – 5pm therefore, ideally we are looking for 2 individuals to work the following hours:

1 x 20 hours per week (8.30am – 12.30pm)

1 x 22.5 hours per week (12.30pm – 5pm)

These hours can be fixed or alternated weekly / monthly

You will act as the first point of contact between the public, outside professionals, and staff in respect of routine telephone calls, general enquiries and visits to the site.

You must be able to demonstrate relevant skills to enable you to manage the reception function in a calm, effective and professional manner in what can sometimes be a busy, pressurised environment.

There is a requirement to manage petty cash and other monetary transactions, therefore it is essential that you are comfortable & proficient in doing this.

You will be responsible for maintaining our security protocols e.g. controlling access to the Hospital, ensuring all visitors are signed in and issued with visitor badges as well as monitoring the staff signing in log book.

There will also be a requirement for you to assist with other general administrative duties along with photocopying and filing.
